RECIPE: Nicecream

This recipe for a healthy alternative to ice cream is perfect for hot days. Because the ice cream is made from fruit, it is packed with vitamins and fiber! Plus, you can customize this ice cream to your own taste, which is ideal if you don't feel like going to the supermarket but still have some fruit in the freezer!

Tip : Enjoy it for breakfast!


What do you need:

  • Frozen fruit of your choice (e.g. red summer fruit and/or mango)
  • (Vegetable) milk, yoghurt or water
  • Optional toppings: fresh fruit, mint, chia seeds, nuts, chocolate

The quantities are as desired and are therefore not indicated above.

Preparation method:

  1. Place the frozen fruit of your choice in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the (vegetable) milk, yoghurt or water until the texture of ice cream is created. This depends on your personal preference and the desired thickness of the ice cream. If the ice cream becomes too thin, you can add extra frozen fruit.
  3. Mix everything well until you have a smooth consistency.
  4. Scoop the ice cream into a bowl and add any toppings you like, such as chia seeds, nuts, mint, chocolate, fresh fruit, and so on.
  5. Enjoy your delicious and healthy ice cream!
