RECEPT: Granola

RECIPE: Granola

Granola is a source of fiber, vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fats. This recipe for granola is delicious as a topping on cottage cheese or oatmeal for breakfast. I like to add some fresh fruit for extra flavor!

What do you need:

  • 180 g oatmeal
  • 200 gr. mixed nuts mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter or peanut butter
  • Optional: 50 gr. sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds
  • Optional: grated coconut
  • Optional: cranberries, raisins and/or dried fruit

Preparation method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Chop the nut mix coarsely.
  3. Place the oats, nuts and optionally the sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds and grated coconut on a baking sheet. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the baking sheet.
  4. Heat the nut butter, oil and honey in a saucepan until everything is lump-free.
  5. Pour this mixture over the baking sheet and mix well.
  6. Bake the granola in the oven for about 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
  7. Optionally add cranberries, raisins and/or dried fruit.
  8. Let the granola cool and store in a sealed jar. Enjoy!

Note : This granola will keep for about 2 weeks in a sealed jar.

Tip : This recipe is also easy to make in the airfryer!
