
RECIPE: Granola
Granola is a source of fiber, vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fats. This recipe for granola is delicious as a topping on cottage cheese or oatmeal for breakfast. I like to add some fresh fruit for extra flavor!
What do you need:
- 180 g oatmeal
- 200 gr. mixed nuts mix
- 1 tablespoon oil of your choice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon nut butter or peanut butter
- Optional: 50 gr. sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds
- Optional: grated coconut
- Optional: cranberries, raisins and/or dried fruit
Preparation method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Chop the nut mix coarsely.
- Place the oats, nuts and optionally the sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds and grated coconut on a baking sheet. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the baking sheet.
- Heat the nut butter, oil and honey in a saucepan until everything is lump-free.
- Pour this mixture over the baking sheet and mix well.
- Bake the granola in the oven for about 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Optionally add cranberries, raisins and/or dried fruit.
- Let the granola cool and store in a sealed jar. Enjoy!
Note : This granola will keep for about 2 weeks in a sealed jar.
Tip : This recipe is also easy to make in the airfryer!
